Welcome to GM Chess. We believe chess software should be lightning fast, uncompromisingly accurate, and deeply addictive. We built this engine directly in your web browser specifically for two types of people:

• Typers and Blitz Maniacs: You can submit FIDE algebraic notation continuously without lifting your hands off the keyboard.
• Purists and GMs: We utilize strict `chess.js` constraints. You will never encounter a drag-and-drop ghost bug, an ignored En Passant, or a missed 50-move draw.

The UI is designed to mimic the early 2000s computing era. No distractions, no bloatware—just raw, unapologetic, bug-free chess logic powered by an embedded Stockfish AI.
