1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using GM Chess ("the Application"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Use of Service

GM Chess is provided as a free, open-access tool for chess analysis and gameplay. You agree not to misuse the service, which includes attempting to overload our static hosting or reverse-engineer the proprietary aspects of our UI implementations outside of fair use open-source boundaries.

3. Intellectual Property and Copyright

The layout, design, and specific combination of code implementations ("The Aesthetic") are copyright © 2026 GM Chess. Stockfish is an open-source engine under the GPLv3 license. SVG chess pieces are sourced from Wikimedia Commons and are under their respective open licenses.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is". GM Chess makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability.
