Privacy Policy

Zero Tracking Guarantee

GM Chess respects your privacy to the absolute maximum. Because our application relies entirely on client-side WebAssembly (WASM) and JavaScript, we do not collect, transmit, or store your gameplay data on our servers.

Local Data Processing

• Engine Evaluation: All Stockfish engine calculations are performed entirely on your device's CPU.
• Move History (PGN): Your game history is generated locally. It is only exported when you explicitly click "Download PGN" or "Analyze on Lichess".
• Theme Preferences: We currently do not use tracking cookies. In future updates, we may use local `localStorage` to save your theme preferences, which remains strictly on your hard drive.

Third-Party Integrations

If you choose to export your game to Lichess via our "Analyze on Lichess" feature, your PGN data will be sent to the Lichess API. At that point, you are subject to the Lichess Privacy Policy.
